2025 (Freshman)
Padilla enjoyed a quality freshman campaign, earning nine starts across her 14 total appearances to lead the Skyhawks with a 4-7 record in the circle... tossed 70.1 innings, including six complete games, and surrendered 83 hits and 39 walks for 60 runs, 41 of which were earned, to carry a 4.08 earned run average (ERA)... recorded a team-high 67 strikeouts with a 1.7 strike-to-walk-ratio... held opponents to a .290 average through 286 at-bats... finished 10th in the RMAC in ERA and tied for the ninth-most batters struck-out looking... allowed the fourth-fewest hits among qualified pitchers throughout the RMAC... allowed the third-fewest earned runs, the ninth-fewest walks, sixth-fewest doubles, and fourth-fewest home runs across the RMAC... recorded four hits in 28 at-bats throughout the year for a .143 batting average... drew three walks and one hit-by-pitch for a .250 on-base percentage... belted her first-career extra-base hit, and set career marks with two runs scored and two runs batted in (RBI), with a two-run homer to center field at New Mexico Highlands (Mar. 30)... totaled 4 RBIs on the season... carried a .250 slugging percentage and a .500 on-base-plus-slugging percentage... burst onto the scene in her first career start, going toe-to-toe with No. 15 nationally ranked Cal State Dominguez Hills through 8.1 innings before the Toros escaped... surrendered only two earned runs and four walks against five strikeouts on 146 pitches... twice matched her career-high with 10 strikeouts at New Mexico Highlands (Mar. 30) and at Chadron State (Apr. 12)... had a career day against the Eagles, surrendering two unearned runs on six hits with zero walks through 6.0 innings and 107 pitches... made a career-high five putouts against Colorado Christian (Mar. 1)... made six putouts and had seven assists in 13 total chances for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage on the year...Â
Prior to FLC: Padilla was a four-year standout at Fruita Monument High School... twice named First-Team All-Conference... earned All-American honors... tabbed with the Daily Sentinel High School Sports Award... Blue Collar Award winner in 2022... Scotty's Athlete of the Week (Sept. 2022)... named the softball team's Most Valuable Player in back-to-back seasons... pitched a no-hitter in the 2023 state tournament... ranked in the top three in home runs on her Wildcats squad.
Personal: Born September 13, 2006... daughter of Margaret and Memo Padilla... has one sibling, Braven... enjoys fishing, hunting, outdoor activities, and being with friends and family... intends on majoring in Sports Administration while at FLC... when asked about what she enjoys most about Fort Lewis, Padilla shared, "Besides the amazing views, I enjoy the small town feel of the campus. I am honored to have been selected to be a part of the Skyhawks program and get the chance to play with a talented group of people."
