RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll
Hellem saw action in 13 games for Fort Lewis, registering 50 minutes (3.8 mins/game) on the hardwood... made his collegiate debut at home in Whalen Gymnasium against Western New Mexico (Nov. 21)... went 4-of-16 (25 percent) for the season, including 3-of-14 (21.4 percent) from the three-point line to score 11 points (0.8 pts/game) for the Skyhawks... thrice scored three points in a game... brought down three defensive rebounds (0.2 rebs/game), made two assists, and nabbed one steal... played a season-high 10 minutes against Chadron State (Feb. 19)... grabbed two rebounds against Western Colorado (Jan. 8)... made his first assist against Colorado Christian (Jan. 22) and grabbed his first steal against MSU Denver (Jan. 31)... named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to FLC: Hellem came to Durango following a four-year tennis and boys basketball career at Air Academy High School... named All-State Honorable Mention, First-Team All-Conference, and Air Academy's Male Athlete of the Year as a senior... earned First-Team Academic All-State as a junior and senior... also picked up a Second-Team All-Conference as a junior... tabbed as the PrepHoops National Player of the Week and Whataburger Athlete of the Week as a senior... tallied over 1,000 career points at Air Academy... stands as the all-time leader in career three-pointers made at Air Academy with 151... also led all classifications in Colorado in three-point shooting as a senior with 79 made threes... posted single-game career highs of 35 points and seven made threes... averaged 21.3 points per game his final season.
Personal: Born April 21, 2005... son to Aimee and Rob Hellem... has one sibling, Ben... enjoys hanging out with family, reading, hiking, listening to Travis Scott and Bob Marley, eating tacos, and doing graphic design... intends on majoring in Business Administration while at FLC... when asked about what his favorite part of Fort Lewis was, Hellem shared, "The quality of education, the beauty of the campus, and the competitiveness of the basketball team."
