Fila had an electrifying freshman campaign, making 11 starts across his 17 matches played with 910 minutes on the pitch... scored five goals and made four assists for 14 points on the season... finished with the fourth-most points, fourth-most goals, and third-most assists among Skyhawks... fired off 29 total shots and 16 shots on goal for a 17.2 percent shot percentage, and 55.2 percent shots-on-goal percentage... tied for the ninth-most shots on goal in the RMAC... scored a brace in his second collegiate match at St. Edward's (Sept. 11) to help the Skyhawks to a comeback 3-3 draw... had a career match against Colorado Christian (Oct. 3), scoring a brace while also making an assist for five total points... produced one of ten 5+ point performances across the RMAC... played a season-high 81 minutes against No. 22 UCCS (Oct. 16).Â
Prior to FLC:Â Fila was a four-year standout in secondary school... earned All-Conference, All-State, and All-Academic honors... voted Team Captain... named Team Captain... scored 45 career goals and registered 25 career assists... posted a personal-best four goals in a single match.Â
Personal:Â Born December 1, 2005... son of Lovelece Fila... has three siblings... enjoys reading, watching movies, playing video games, cooking, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family... favorite musical artists include Tiakola coucher de soleil... favorite foods include pizza, couscous, grilled chicken, burgers, curry rice, and pasta carbonara... intends on majoring in Business while at FLC... when asked his favorite part of Fort Lewis, Fila shared, "the campus and its scenery, the welcoming student community, and the athletic facilities."Â
