“These camps mean so much to FLC Athletics as a whole. It’s a real connection to the community that creates a learning opportunity for all of the kids who have dreams of being high-level athletes, or for the kids who want to come and hang out and connect with friends in an incredible environment through sport. Not to mention we seemingly always have at least one player from camp end up in our teams, from Durango locals to players who just come to an ID Camp to check out Fort Lewis. My favorite example of this is Amanda Raso, who started coming to camp at 12 or 13 and ended up setting records as a goalkeeper for FLC from 2010-2013.
