Benjamin Hanks was hired as the new Assistant Coach for Defensive Backs at Fort Lewis College in the summer of 2019. He returns to Durango after spending one season as the defensive backs coach at Verrado high school in Buckeye, Arizona.

Hanks, a native of Goodyear, Arizona, played for the Skyhawks from 2015-2018 and finished his career with 28 total tackles.
