Jordan Fenner joined the Skyhawks football coaching in the spring of 2016 as the quarterbacks and wide receivers coach.
Fenner joins the Skyhawks from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, where he served as the tight ends coach, assistant special team's coordinator, and operations and travel coordinator during the 2015 season. The Hardrockers offense was one of the top teams in the conference in total offense, passing, rushing and scoring.
Prior to joining the Hardrockers coaching staff, Fenner spent the 2012-14 seasons at Greeley West High School as the quarterbacks and wide receivers offensive consultant and passing game coordinator. GWHS ranked in the top 10 in 5A and qualified for the playoffs.
From 2007-11, Fenner was the passing game coordinator, wide receivers coach and assistant special teams coordinator at the University of Northern Colorado. Fenner helped the Bears break nine offensive school records while producing the highest program totals in total offense, rushing and passing since becoming a Division I institution. He also coached several Big Sky all-conference performers and two All-Americans.
Fenner was an offensive assistant football coach and special teams coordinator from 2006-07 at Southern Oregon University after serving as an assistant coach in 2004-05 at East Central University.
In more than 10 years as a collegiate coach, Fenner has coached five All-Americans, six players who have played in the NFL, and multiple players at the professional level, including Europe and indoor league.
Fenner's recruiting area includes Colorado, Oregon, Washington, California, Texas, Oklahoma and Alaska.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in History from Southwestern University in 2003, and his Master of Education degree from East Central in 2005.
