Thomas Bearden will make his coaching debut as a student volunteer assistant for the Skyhawks football team in the fall of 2026.
The former starting center for Fort Lewis (2022-25), Bearden made the transition after racking up 11 starts across his 18 career games on the gridiron. While battling injury in 2025, Bearden helped the Skyhawks offense achieve its first +300-yard-per-game average (302.7) since 2017. Back in 2024, he helped Fort Lewis improve its rushing game to 125.8 yards per game, marking a +60.3-yard improvement from the season prior.
Bearden was a former All-State Honorable Mention, All-South Texas, and All-District Lineman of the Year at Bishop High School in Bishop, Texas.
