Todd Patridge joined the Skyhawks football team as a defensive analyst ahead of the fall 2026 campaign.
Most recently, Patridge spent the 2025 season with the Fighting Saints at the University of St. Francis (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics). While in Joliet, Ill., Patridge coached the defensive line, where he helped the Fighting Saints to a 3-7 overall record and three players to All-Mid-States Football Association Midwest League honors, including linebacker Karsen Hansen (1st Team), defensive back Nathen Choute (2nd Team), and defensive back Michael Hackman (Honorable Mention). In addition, the Saints saw 12 student-athletes named NAIA Scholar-Athletes, seven individuals to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams, and Bew Gains American Football Coaches Association NAIA Second-Team All-American honors.
Prior to joining the Fighting Saints staff, Patridge spent the 2025 spring season as an assistant football coach at Judson University (NAIA) as the Eagles’ linebackers coach. From 2022-2024, Patridge served as both defensive line and linebackers coach at various high schools, including producing multiple all-conference performers at Hope Academy Chicago (2024), Metea Valley High School (2023), and Wheaton North High School (2022).
Before returning to the high school ranks, Patridge spent three seasons (2019-2021) as the head coach/defensive coordinator for the club team at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. While at UWM, he led the Panthers’ 2021 squad to the program’s first conference championship and the first No. 1-ranked scoring defense in the team’s history. In 2020, Patridge moved back to the semi-professional ranks with the Wisconsin Hitmen in Milwaukee, Wis., as an assistant defensive coach to the linebackers. After one season, he served in the same role for the Racine Raiders in 2021.
In 2017, Patridge served as the assistant defensive coach for middle linebackers at College of DuPage, where he helped lead the Chaparrals in securing the 2017 National Junior College Athletic Association Championship at the Red Grange Bowl. His success at COD led him back to Loyola Chicago in 2018, where he accepted the position of offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for its club team.
Patridge began his coaching career in 2007 as the defensive coordinator/linebackers coach at Bartlett High School. In 2014, he accepted the role of running backs coach for the Leyden Lions, a semi-professional football club, before breaking into the college ranks later that same year as quarterbacks coach for the club program at Loyola University of Chicago.
