Biography

2024 (Senior)
Competed in all 11 games and made eight starts in his final season... finished 7th on the team in total tackles, registering 42 total tackles with 23 solo and 19 assisted stops... also ranked 4th on the roster with 6.0 tackles for a combined 31 yards lost and 3rd on the team with 3.5 sacks for 25 yards lost... made two quarterback hurries and broke up one pass... twice made a career-high seven tackles against both Arizona Christian (Sept. 14) and at Black Hills State (Sept. 21)... had a career-day against the Firestorm with seven tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks for 11 yards lost while also forcing a quarterback hurry... finished with two or more tackles in ten games and with five or more tackles on five occasions. 

2023 (Junior)
Switch to linebacker and played in all 11 games for the Skyhawks... made one start... twice recorded a career-high four tackles at Chadron State (Oct. 7) and against #1/1 Colorado School of Mines (Nov. 11)... totaled 22.0 tackles on the year including 17 solo and five assisted... also made 2.0 tackles for eight yards of loss including 1.0 sacks for six yards of loss... recovered a fumble against Black Hills State (Oct. 28)... also made one quarterback hurry at Adams State (Sep. 23). 

2022 (Sophomore)
Did not make any appearances for the Skyhawks. 

2021 (Freshman) 
Played in eight games for the Skyhawks... registered four starts, including the first of his career at Tarleton State (Sept. 11)... completed 33 passes on 98 attempts for a total of 310 yards... held a 34% completion percentage with a season-long pass of 65 yards... tossed eight interceptions... made one reception for a five-yard gain... also made two solo tackles. 

Prior to FLC: The left-hander was a Class 4A First-Team All-State selection at Ponderosa High School... finished the 2020 season 11th in the state in passing yards (1,334) with 15 touchdowns versus 4 interceptions... Hanenburg posted a QBR rating of 129.0 as a senior in seven games... completed 65% of his passes... averaged 190 pass yards and 41 rush yards per contest for a Ponderosa offense that ranked fifth in Class 4A at 36.1 points per game.
