Biography

2018: Young posted 38 hits to finish with a .279 batting average, three doubles, three triples, five RBI, 25 runs scored, 11 walks and 11 stolen bases, playing in 51 games, starting 47. She tallied a season-high three hits against Western Washington and had a hit in at least 29 games and had two or more hits in nine different games. Young swiped two stolen bases against Franklin Pierce and Colorado School of Mines and drew three walks against Colorado Christian.

2017: Saw action in 48 games and started 47 as an outfielder … Finished her freshman campaign with 37 hits, 27 runs scored and nine RBIs … Batted .270 … Led the team in stolen bases (7) and sac bunts (7) … Recorded her first collegiate hit on Feb. 10 against Missouri Southern State where she accounted for three hits … Posted seven multi-hit games … Added 85 putouts and six assists.
