Stone will embark on her third season with the Skyhawks and her first as assistant coach in 2025.
A native of Salinas, Calif., and a graduate of Salinas High School, Stone played for the Skyhawks in 2023 and 2024 following two years at Monterey Peninsula College.
Upon her arrival, Stone created an immediate impact and since started in all 91 games played while at Fort Lewis en route to National Fastpitch Coaches Association Second-Team All-South Central Regional and Second-Team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference nods in 2024 and an All-RMAC Honorable Mention in 2023.
Stone posted a .438 batting average – the second-highest single-season average in program history and 37th in NCAA DII in 2024 – through her final season donning the blue and gold with 60 total hits including 16 doubles, three triples, and nine home runs for 31 runs scored and 45 runs batted in. In addition, Stone posted the seventh-highest single-season slugging percentage (.796), tenth-most hits (60), and second-most doubles (16) in a single year while also striking out only seven times in 137 at-bats.
