A four-year starting pitcher for the Skyhawks from 2013-2016, Victoria Johnson was named the assistant coach for the softball program in the fall of 2016.
Johnson is the Skyhawks career record holder in wins (40) and games started (92). She ranks second all-time in appearances (106), and third all-time in innings pitched (494.1) and strikeouts (326). In four years in the circle, she pitched 34 complete games and shutout four opponents, three of which came in 2016. She held her opponents to a .315 batting average and posted a career best .287 opponent batting average in 2016.
A native of Bakersfield, Calif., Johnson finished her career with a 5.08 earned run average. She was named to the RMAC Honorable Mention team in 2016 and earned RMAC Pitcher of the Week honors twice. Last season, she recorded a complete game no-hitter on Feb. 12, 2016 as the Skyhawks defeated Cameron University, 8-0.
Johnson graduated from Fort Lewis College in 2016 with a degree in Sociology (Criminology option).
