Cueva, the dual-action right-handed pitcher and utility infielder, jumped right into the Skyhawks lineup in her inaugural season, starting in 28 of her 30 games played thus far... through just past the midway point of the year, Cueva ranks second on the team in batting average (.296) and has recorded the fifth-most hits with 24... sits third on the roster in slugging percentage (.383) and in on-base+slugging (OPS) (.696) thanks to five doubles and one triple on the season... has scored 10 runs and registered 12 runs batted in (RBI) to have a hand in 22 of the team's 125 runs scored (17.6 percent)... at the plate, Cueva has also drawn one walk, one hit-by-pitch, and struck out 14 times with two sacrifice hits... 0-1 on stolen base attempts thus far... carries a .956 fielding percentage with four errors among 69 putouts and 17 assists in 90 total chances... in the circle, Cueva has made four starts and six total appearance with 25.2 innings pitched... carries a line with an 8.45 earned run average (ERA), 2.42 walks+hits-per-inning-pitched (WHIP), and a .306 opponents batting average... boasts a 2-3 record with back-to-back wins over New Mexico Highlands (Apr. 3) and Adams State (Mar. 29)... has tossed three complete games this season... in total, has surrendered 37 runs, with 31 earned, on 33 hits, 29 walks, five hit batters, and three wild pitches against eight strikeouts... given up two sacrifice flies and sits 10th in the RMAC having had three opposing runners caught stealing in seven attempts and drawn three of the team's 14 double plays.Â
