Maggie Espenmiller-McGraw

Maggie Espenmiller-McGraw has joined the Skyhawks women's basketball team as an assistant coach ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Espenmiller-McGraw recently completed her playing career after spending her fifth season at the University of Montana (NCAA DI). Prior to competing for the Grizzlies, she spent four seasons at Iowa State University (NCAA DI). At Iowa State, Espenmiller-McGraw played in 94 games and made 35 starts. She totaled 483 points, 162 rebounds, and 142 assists. The Cyclones advanced to the NCAA Tournament three times during her career.

She enjoyed a breakout year at Montana, culminating in Big Sky Conference Newcomer of the Year and Second Team All-Big Sky honors. She started all 33 games and averaged 27.7 minutes while ranking second on the roster with 12.2 points per game. She ranked 10th nationally in 3-point percentage (.435) and established a Montana program record with 83 made threes. She reached double-digit points in 20 games, including a stretch of nine straight games from February to March.

Espenmiller-McGraw hails from Indianola, Iowa, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Iowa State in 2023. She is currently pursuing a degree in Media Arts from the University of Montana.
