2025 (Freshman)
Fockler burst onto the scene for Fort Lewis as a freshman, standing as one of just two players on the roster to start in all 36 games for the Skyhawks... one of just four players to boast a +.300 batting average with a .308 clip on 32 hits in team-high 104 at-bats... tied for the team-lead with 10 doubles... also belted her first and only home run against Vanguard (Calif. ) (Feb. 1)... drove in 12 runs while scoring a team-high 18 runs... carried a .433 slugging percentage and .397 on-base percentage for a .830 on-base-plus-slugging-percentage... drew a team-high 13 walks and was thrice hit-by-pitch... recorded her first collegiate hit in her second career at-bat against Dominican (Calif.) (Jan. 31)... split time between catching and at first base... carried a .985 fielding percentage with 181 putouts, 18 assists, and three errors across a team-high 202 chances... caught four runners stealing and assisted in seven double plays.
Prior to FLC: Fockler comes to Durango as a three-year letterwinner in softball and one-year letterwinner in golf at Coconino High School... named the 2023 4A First-Team All-State Catcher, First-Team All-Region Catcher, and the Coconino Character Award winner... also named the First-Team All-Region as a catcher in 2022 alongside being tabbed the Coconino Offensive Player of the Year... earned First-Team All-Reigon as a position player in 2021 and also picked up Coconino Defensive Player of the Year honors... was a three-year honor roll member, thrice earned All-Academic letters, and was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars... led the Panthers with a team-high batting average of .460 in 2022 and .441 in 2021 before ending her career with a .450 average... thrice owned a perfect fielding percentage... owns the single-season records for doubles with 14 and walks with 22.
Personal: Born May 11, 2006... daughter to Rebecca and John Fockler... has one sibling, Drew... enjoys going to the lake, wakeboarding, jet skiing, camping, reading poetry, snowboarding, walking her dog, listening to artists such as SZA, Fleetwood Mac, and Zach Bryan... favorite foods include watermelon, banana splits, canes, and Dr. Pepper... also plays the violin... intends on majoring in Engineering while at FLC... when asked about her favorite parts of Fort Lewis, Fockler shared, "The campus is very beautiful and I love Durango. It reminds me a lot of my hometown. I also love the family atmosphere within the softball program."
