DURANGO, Colo. — The 2011
Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men's soccer tournament championship game between No. 3 Fort Lewis (19-1-0) and No. 21 Metro State (14-5-1) has been changed to 2 p.m. tomorrow at FLC's Dirks Field to allow for snow removal and the pitch to dry. The game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m.
Durango received overnight snow on Friday and snowfall continued through the afternoon today. A few inches accumulated on Dirks Field.
Weather tomorrow is expected to be partly sunny with a high of 39 degrees.
In semifinal action yesterday, the Skyhawks beat Colorado Mines 3-1, while the Roadrunners knocked off Regis 1-0.
Fort Lewis and Metro State split their regular season series, with each team winning 1-0 on the other's home turf. The Skyhawks won the RMAC regular season crown with a 13-1-0 record. 2011 marks the 14th time that FLC has won the league regular season and/or postseason title in 19 seasons.

Because this is an RMAC playoff event, no previously issued passes or tickets will be accepted for the tournament. All fans, including FLC students, faculty, staff, boosters, retirees, and Athletic Hall of Fame members, must purchase tickets. Prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students (ages 13 through college), children (ages 6-12), and senior citizens (ages 65 and older). Children age five and younger will be admitted free.
