The scrappy Skyhawks trailed by five at intermission, 33-28, and matched the Grizzlies with 34 in the second stanza.
Torrey Udall's layup with 8:13 remaining in the game put FLC on top 52-51, but a 9-0 ASC run over the next five minutes put the game away.
Long-range and free-throw shooting woes proved to be FLC's undoing, as the Skyhawks hit just 4-of-17 (.235) from behind the arc and 8-of-14 (.571) from the line.
The Skyhawks are back on the road next weekend when they visit Colorado Mesa (5-3, 3-1) at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Western State (3-5, 1-3) at 8 p.m. Saturday.
