DURANGO, Colo. — Nikki Kinzer had 18 kills and four blocks to lead UC-Colorado Springs (5-4 overall, 1-0 in the
Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) to a four-game win over Fort Lewis (3-6, 0-1) tonight in the league opener for both teams.
“We continue to improve as we try to figure out how to finish our opportunities,” said eighth-year FLC head coach Shelly Aaland. “We did everything we needed to do to get good transition balls but we struggled to put the ball down when we needed to.”
