DURANGO, Colo. – November 14, 2015 – Junior guard
Will Morse came off the bench to score a career high 26 points Saturday night in a 77-63 home win over Eastern New Mexico University as part of the 2015 Skyhawks Basketball Regional Challenge.
Morse made 9 of 13 field goals as part of his 26 points, including 7 of 8 three point field goals for 21 points. He also added three assists and two rebounds in 23 minutes on the court.
Rasmus Bach netted 5 of 10 field goals and 7 of 10 free throws for17 points and was one rebound shy of a double-double.
Cade Kloster was one of three Skyhawks in double figures with 12 points.
Joshua Blaylock tallied a game high five assists and added two steals to go with his five assists.
Austin Haldorson posted rebounds, three points, two blocked shots, an assist and steal.
FLC finished the game making 46.3 percent from the floor and 40 percent from downtown (12 of 30). The Skyhawks edged ENMU in bench points, 35-33, but were outscored in the paint (24-18), off of turnovers (17-13), second chance points (20-9) and fast break points (8-4).
The Skyhawks (2-0) will continue their three-game home stand when they play host to Northern New Mexico on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
