SALT LAKE CITY – January 16, 2016 –
Will Morse scored a game high 23 points to lead the Fort Lewis College men's basketball team to an 89-74 win at Westminster College Saturday night. Eighteen of Morse's points came from long range as he helped FLC shoot nearly 50 percent from the floor. The win moves No. 18 FLC to 13-3 overall and 8-3 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. WC drops to 8-7 overall and 4-7 in the RMAC.

Bob Pietrack. "It's a tough place to get a win but our program is built out of bricks and we continue to prove that. We're very excited to get home and play four straight at home and get good rhythm in Whalen and playing good basketball."
Morse made 7 of 10 field goals including 6 of 9 from behind the three-point range and 3 of 4 from the charity stripe.
Austin Haldorson added 16 points and blocked three shots.
Rasmus Bach came off the bench to net 14 points on 4 of 6 field goals.
Cade Kloster was one point and one assist away from a double-double after he dished out a career high nine assists to go with a game high four steals. As a team, the Skyhawks made 29 of 59 field goals for 49.2 percent. They chipped in 15 of 33 from long range (45.5 percent) and 16 of 20 free throws (80 percent).
Fort Lewis will return to Whalen Gymnasium after playing their last four games on the road. The Skyhawks will play host to Western New Mexico and New Mexico Highlands on Jan. 22-23.
