For the fifth straight week, the Skyhawks are ranked in the top 25.  FLC is No. 20 in this week's NABC Division II poll.

Saturday's 83-79 home win over New Mexico Highlands University tied both teams for a league best record of 10-3 overall.  FLC and NMHU hold a one game lead over  MSU Denver and Colorado Mesa who are tied for third place with a 9-4 record.

Joshua Blaylock pulled down a career high and game high nine rebounds against New Mexico Highlands, while Jared Smith scored a season high 12 points against NMHU.

FLC made 16 of 28 three-point field goals Saturday against the Cowboys, marking their best three-point field goal shooting mark this season (57.1 percent).

The Skyhawks three-game winning streak is the second longest in the league behind Colorado Mesa's four-game winning streak.

FLC will continue their four game homestand this weekend when they play host to Rocky Division opponents Regis University and Chadron State College.

Friday's opponent, Regis University, is seventh in the Rocky Division with a 5-8 record (7-12 overall).  The Rangers lead the league in steals with 156 (7.8 per game).

The Eagles are eighth in the Rocky Division (4-9) and 6-11 overall.  CSC ranks first in the RMAC in fewest turnovers (197) and offensive rebounds per game (12.1).

FLC leads the league in scoring margin (10.2 points per game), turnover margin (2.4) and win/loss percentage (83.3 percent).  The Skyhawks are second in the RMAC in three-point field goal attempts (514), three pointers per game (11.1), three-point field goal percentage (38.7), three-point field goals made (199), free throw percentage (75.4 percent) and scoring defense (70.6 points allowed per game).
