No. 20 Skyhawks Shoot Past Rangers, 92-80

DURANGO, Colo. – January 29, 2016 – Six of the eight Fort Lewis College men's basketball student-athletes that saw action Friday night against Regis University scored in double figures as the Skyhawks shot better than 55 percent from the floor to post a 92-80 win over Regis University Friday night.
 
Cade Kloster and Kofi Josephs tied for team high honors with 17 points each. Kloster netted 5-of-11 field goals and all five free throw attempts.  Josephs came off the bench to make 6-of-8 field goals and 4-of-5 three-point field goals.  Austin Haldorson and Joshua Blaylock each chipped in 15 points.  Haldorson recorded 7-of-10 field goals while Blaylock made all four free throw attempts and 5-of-9 field goals to go with his game high six assists.  Will Morse and Rasmus Bach each poured in 11 points.
 
The Skyhawks, ranked No. 20 in the latest NABC Division II poll, out-scored the Rangers in the paint, 36-30, and FLC's bench netted 31 points to Regis' eight points.
 
Fort Lewis, who improve to 16-3 overall and 11-3 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, gained sole possession of the RMAC league standings after MSU Denver defeated New Mexico Highlands University.  The Skyhawks, who are undefeated at home this season in 10 games, will play host ot Chadron State College Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
