LAKEWOOD, Colo. – January 8, 2016 – For only the second time this season, the Fort Lewis College men's basketball team suffered a setback on the road. The Skyhawks, ranked No. 16 in the NABC Division II poll, fell at Colorado Christian University Friday night, 80-73.
The loss moves the Skyhawks to 11-2 overall and 6-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
Joshua Blaylock led both teams with 16 points followed by
Rasmus Bach's 12 points.
Austin Haldorson was solid from the floor, netting 5 of 9 field goals as part of his 11 points.
The Skyhawks led for nearly the entire game except the final four minutes. FLC shot 41.7 percent from the floor (25 of 60).
Fort Lewis will travel to Colorado School of Mines Saturday night at 7 p.m.
