GOLDEN, Colo. – November 26, 2016 – Junior Rasmus Bach and senior Joshua Blaylock combined for 44 points to lead the No. 24 Fort Lewis College men's basketball team to an 83-64 neutral site win over Wayland Baptist University Saturday afternoon at Lockridge Arena in Golden, Colo.

The win snaps WBU's six game winning streak as the Skyhawks have now won their last five games to improve to 5-1 on the year.

"This was a solid win for us tonight," said head coach Bob Pietrack.  "We played well.  We look forward to coming home and starting RMAC play."

FLC led Wayland Baptist for nearly 38 minutes.  The Pioneers are coming off of three wins over RMAC teams – Western State Colorado University, Colorado Mesa University and No. 15 Colorado School of Mines.

Bach hit on 7-of-19 field goals and all seven free throws for a game high 23 points.  He added four rebounds and four assists. Fifteen of Blaylock's 21 points came from long range as he finished making 8-of-15 from the floor and 5-of-8 from three-point range.

Brandon Wilson pulled down a career high 14 rebounds, all of which came on the defensive glass.  He netted eight points, dished out three assists, blocked two shots and stole the ball once.

Alex Semadeni was near perfect from the floor, netting 4-of-5 field goals and both free throw attempts for 10 points.  Will Morse dished out a game high six assists to go with his nine points.

FLC held a slight 39-35 rebound advantage.

The Skyhawks finished the game making 20-of-25 free throws after being fouled 23 times.  The Pioneers made 8-of-11 free throws as the Skyhawks recorded 10 fewer fouls.
