2016 RMAC BracketDURANGO, Colo. – February 26, 2016 – Playing their final home game of the season, the Fort Lewis College women's basketball team held off Adams State University Friday night, 75-62, at Whalen Gymnasium.
The Skyhawks wrap up the regular season 17-10 overall and 13-9 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. FLC is the No. 8 seed in the RMAC Championship Tournament and will play at Colorado School of Mines.
Thirteen Skyhawks saw action against the Grizzlies Friday night.
Astrea Reed scored a team high 20 points to lead four players in double figures. Reed tallied five rebounds and dished out four assists.
Dallas Dickerson came off the bench to record 14 points. Dickerson hit 4-of-6 three-point field goals and added two rebounds.
Kylie Santos notched 12 points, three rebounds and three assists. Freshman
Alyssa Yocky added 12 points and seven rebounds off the bench.
FLC committed only 14 turnovers and scored 23 points off of ASU's 23 turnovers. The Skyhawks held a nine-rebound advantage, 45-36, including 20-7 on the offensive glass.
The Skyhawks, who are 0-2 against the Orediggers this season, will face the top seeded team on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The winner will advance to the semifinal round to face the winner between #4 seed Regis and #5 seed UCCS.
