"It was a really tough game for us tonight," said head coach Bob Pietrack. "I'm really proud of the young men for fighting through.  It wasn't our best game of the year.  South Dakota Mines was very good tonight and they played well.  We credit them for a great game.  We were just lucky enough to end up with more points than them at the end.  We're looking forward to tomorrow night."

Rasmus Bach and Joshua Blaylock combined for 15 of the Skyhawks 18 points in overtime.  Bach netted six points from behind the arc and added two free throws for eight points.  Blaylock made 3-of-5 field goals for seven points while Will Morse nailed a three-pointer to account for the Skyhawks 18 extra period points.
