Skyhawks Fall Short at Black Hills State, 74-71

Box Score SPEARFISH, S.D. – February 6, 2016 – One night after winning a double overtime game at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, the Fort Lewis College women's basketball team nearly sent tonight's game into overtime but fell short at Black Hills State University, 74-71.

"This was a tough game to lose because both teams played really well," said head coach Jason Flores.  "It literally came down to one big shot either way and they hit one.  We both played hard and we won't be happy heading home with this loss, but we also won't be putting our heads down.  We'll get back and be ready for next weekend."
