Porter and Lamb named Second Team All-Conference

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) has announced its women's basketball All-Conference teams, with junior Makaya Porter and sophomore Katie Lamb both earning Second Team honors.

Porter made an immediate impact in her first season in the post, tying for the team lead with 11.8 points per game while shooting 42.5 percent from the floor. She also anchored the defensive end, averaging 1.2 blocks per game—second-best in the RMAC—while adding 2.1 steals per game to rank seventh in the conference. Porter also contributed four rebounds per game, the fourth-highest mark on the team.

Lamb turned in another standout season for the Skyhawks, also averaging 11.8 points per game while knocking down 68 three-pointers on the year. The sophomore added 2.2 steals per game, tied for third in the conference, along with 3.6 rebounds per contest. She scored in double figures in 20 games and recorded a career-high eight steals in a win over Chadron State—tied for the second-most in a single game in program history.
