Box Score SEUGIN, Texas – September 9, 2016 – The Fort Lewis College men's soccer team was shutout for the first time this season Friday afternoon at No. 7 St. Edward's University. The game was play at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas due to SEU's field being unplayable.
The Hilltoppers scored their first goal of the game at 21:52 by Grant Mobley. FLC went down 2-0 at 36:18 on an own goal before Pablo Covarrubias netted the final goal of the game at 72:26.
FLC was out-shot 14-6 and 7-3 shots on goal. The Hilltoppers took seven corner kicks to the Skyhawks two.
Tamino Kroeger and
Raul Pescador each took two shots.
Jack Jordan allowed three goals and made four saves in his first complete game of the season.
FLC (0-3) will play their last non-conference game of the regular season on Sunday at St. Mary's University. Game time is slated for 12 p.m. (MT).
