ALBUQUERQUE – November 11, 2017 – The 16
th-ranked team in the nation lost on a buzzer beater Saturday afternoon, 73-72. Fort Lewis College, ranked No. 16 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches poll, fell to Eastern New Mexico University in Dreamstyle Arena.

Rasmus Bach hit two free throws with 41 seconds left in regulation, Lamarquis Thompson of ENMU nailed a three-pointer with one tick left on the clock to upset the Skyhawks, 73-72.
The game featured 14 lead changes and was tied 11 times.
Bach led the Skyhawks offensively with 20 points. He made 6-of-14 from the floor, 4-of-7 from long range and all four free throw attempts. He added a game high five assists and pulled down four rebounds.
Marquel Beasley chipped in 14 points in his Skyhawks debut. He added 12 rebounds for his first FLC double-double.
Thompson led all scorers with 23 points and 13 rebounds.
FLC shot 40.9 percent from the floor (27-of-66) and 30 percent from long range (6-of-20).
The Skyhawks outscored ENMU in the paint, 32-22.
FLC will face New Mexico Highlands Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m.
