Brandon Wilson notched is fourth double-double of the season Saturday night to lead No. 12 Fort Lewis College to a 90-71 win against Colorado Mesa University in Whalen Gymnasium.
Tonight's win marks the Skyhawks 30
th straight win at home and their 10
th straight win this season as they improve to 22-3 overall and 17-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
Wilson made 8-of-12 field goals and 4-of-5 free throws for a career high 20 points. He also tied a career high in rebounds with 14.
Rasmus Bach and
Joshua Blaylock each sank 18 points and dished out four assists apiece. Twelve of Blaylock's points came from long range where he made 4-of-6 attempts.
All six of
Will Morse's points came from behind the arc. He added a game high nine assists.
The Skyhawks shot 50.8 percent from the floor (33-of-65) and 54.5 percent from long range (12-of-22). Tonight was the 17
th time this season FLC shot better than 50 percent from the floor, and the seventh time they shot better than 50 percent from long range.
Fort Lewis will play host to Colorado School of Mines on Friday, Feb. 17 in their only game of the week. The game will be broadcast on Altitude 2 and Comcast.
