DURANGO, Colo. – After a comeback win over the University of the Southwest Friday, the Fort Lewis College men's basketball team will cap their three-game home stand this Wednesday against Haskell Indian Nations starting at 5 p.m. inside Whalen Gym.

The victory also was a big milestone for Head Coach Bob Pietrack as he has gone an unthinkable 50-2 during his first 52 home games to start his career.

In the win over Southwest, the RMAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week Marquel Beasley posted 28 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks and four steals. He connected on over 50 percent (11-21) from the field and added a pair of three-pointers. Otas Iyekekpolor added a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds, while sending back four blocks. Alex Semadeni just missed a double-double with 11 rebounds and eight points.

FLC (3-1) has won two straight after also defeating Northern New Mexico (83-60) back on Nov. 14 inside Whalen Gym. Beasley is connecting on 57 percent (29-51) from the field this season, along with 5-10 from three and is averaging 19.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. He has a team-high seven steals. Riley Farris is second in scoring at 13.3 points per game and adds 4.5 rebounds and three blocks. Semadeni adds 10 points per game, 7.8 rebounds and a team-high 19 assists.

The Skyhawks average 75 points and allow 68, while making 42 percent (100-240) from the field.

FLC last faced Haskell during the 2015-16 season when the teams met in Golden and the Skyhawks claimed a 78-64 victory. Semadeni was the only Skyhawk that is on the roster this year that played in this game when he logged seven minutes and scored two points.

Live video and stats will be available for the game. FLC will be off the rest of the Thanksgiving week until they open RMAC play on Saturday, Dec. 1 when they will play at Adams State in Alamosa.
