Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Bach Reaches Milestone in Home Win

DURANGO, Colo. – February 3, 2018 – Senior guard Rasmus Bach became the all-time winningest player in Fort Lewis College men's basketball program history Saturday night.  The Skyhawks defeated Colorado State University-Pueblo, 95-61, in Whalen Gymnasium.

Bach recorded five points, seven rebounds and five assists for his 93rd career win as FLC improves to 19-3 overall and 15-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

"In a rich basketball tradition in a program like ours, it is quite an accomplishment he has attained," said head coach Bob Pietrack.  "In our program, we don't celebrate individual accomplishments too often, but this one is special."

The Skyhawks led the ThunderWolves for nearly 38 minutes, and took their largest lead of the game (38 points) with 2:52 left in the second half.

Five players, including four starters, scored in double figures.  FLC was led by Daniel Hernandez' 19 points.  DJ Miles added 18 points while Riley Farris came off the bench to net 16 points and block three shots. Marquel Beasley netted 19 points while Brandon Wilson scored 13.

The Skyhawks finished the night making 60.3 percent from the floor and 57.1 percent from long range.

FLC will travel to Western State and Colorado Mesa Feb. 9-10.
