GUNNISON, Colo. – February 9, 2018 – Four Fort Lewis College men's basketball players scored at least 11 points as No. 14 FLC posted a 76-69 win at Western State Colorado University Friday night at Paul Wright Gym.
DJ Miles led FLC (20-3, 16-2 RMAC) in scoring with 19 points and six assists.
Nine of
Rasmus Bach's 18 points came from the free throw line as he sank 9-of-11.
Brandon Wilson tallied 12 points and tied
Marquel Beasley for a team high seven rebounds.
Riley Farris came off the bench to hit 5-of-6 field goals as part of his 11 points.
The Mountaineers' Quincy Harding led all players with 25 points.
FLC finished the game hitting 50 percent from the floor (27-of-54), 22.2 percent from long range (2-of-9) and 76.9 percent from the charity stripe (20-of-26).
The Skyhawks attempted 19 more free throws than WSCU. The Mountaineers made 5-of-7 from the line and 27-of-61 field goals.
Fort Lewis will play at Colorado Mesa University Saturday night. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
