Sanderson Transfers From Idaho State to Join Women’s Soccer

DURANGO, Colo. – Corinne Sanderson spent the past two seasons playing at Division I Idaho State, will transfer to Fort Lewis College to play for the women's soccer team this upcoming season.

"Corinne will help us on the attacking side of the ball.  She is a strong athlete with good size and a good technique.  She can play as a target forward, as well as attack defenders on the dribble," Head Coach Damian Clarke said. "She is also a very successful student, who has done a very good job at the DI level, while balancing academics and high-level athletics.  We feel lucky to have her coming in, and we look forward to adding her to our group of 2019 additions."

Sanderson, a 5-foot-8 forward/midfielder, saw action in 10 games, starting six during the 2018 season. She logged 376 minutes, tallied both a goal and an assist, landing two shots on goal, posting a 40 percent shot on goal percentage.
