Comments from Coach Josh Drew
"I'm super stoked to start the indoor track season with an awesome opener. Zack (Gaumont) placed sixth in the 60, and Aubrey (Swindle) ran a fantastic leg in our women's 4x400 relay. It was fun with an entirely freshman group of sprinters to learn indoor track and get used to a new season."
Comments from Coach Shawn Jakubowski
"We stacked the women in the one mile and 3k and had several personal bests. I am pleased with how we performed. The men had a great opener with our middle-distance runners showing they will be a factor this year, and our distance runners had a similar story. It feels like we picked up right where we left off, and I'm excited to see the improvement we will have this season. We come home with tons of PR's and some school records--any time you can say that, it's a good day."
