Hard Fought No. 4
Last weekend, the Skyhawks clinched the program's fourth-ever 12-game winning streak after escaping South Dakota with a pair of critical 82-76 and 75-70 conference wins over South Dakota Mines (5-9, 3-5 RMAC) and Black Hills State (6-7, 4-3 RMAC). Fort Lewis' current streak is its longest since 2016-17.

The Skyhawks went for double figures in each contest with Obi Agbim leading the way in scoring both games. Agbim scored 13 points against the Hardrockers before following himself up with a season-high 28 against the Yellow Jackets on a 50 percent (10-20) shooting. All told, FLC continued to dominate its opponents in combined rebounds (68-55), points in the paint (78-38), and points off the bench (66-28).

January's Best
In this week's latest editions of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and Division II College Sports Communicators Media Top 25 Polls, the Skyhawks clocked in at No. 9 and 16, respectively. Fort Lewis' No. 9 ranking is the highest in program history through the month of January. FLC leads all RMAC programs on both polls while trailing just No. 4/5 West Texas A&M (12-1, 6-0 LSC) and No. 6/9 Dallas Baptist (11-1, 5-1 LSC) in the South-Central region.

Scouting the Mountain Lions
UCCS rides into the week hot off a commanding 83-60 win over Western Colorado (4-8, 1-5 RMAC) at home. The Mountain Lions, who saw five finishes in double figures, dominated the Mountaineers in shooting 52.7 percent (29-55) to 40.0 percent (24-60) while clamping WCU to just 22 points in the opening half.

The Mountain Lions have four averaging 10 or more points per game: Xavier Martinez (13.6), Jesse Iweze (12.4), Mac Stodart (10.8), and Jayden Washington (10.0). Iweze also ranks sixth in the league rebounding (7.2) while Martinez is second in assists (4.5) and third in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.8). As a unit, UCCS is 12th in offensive production (71.6) and third in defense (71.9) in the conference.

Scouting the Rangers
Regis will be looking to bounce back this weekend after suffering a 93-79 loss to Colorado School of Mines (12-3, 6-1 RMAC) at home last week. The Rangers had topped UCCS 88-62 the game prior thanks to 51.4 percent shooting (37-72) as a unit and a 21-point outing from Tarig Eisa.

Eisa is only Regis' fourth-leading scorer at 8.2 points per game while Chase Mayo Harmon leads the squad with a 15.4 average followed by Eddy Egun's 9.9 and Ty Cox's 9.5 per game. RU owns the league's ninth-ranked offense and seventh-ranked defense scoring 74.0 points per game while limiting opponents to 72.9. In addition, Eisa trails only the Skyhawks' Brayden Carter in total blocks 20-17.

Looking Ahead
Next weekend, the Skyhawks are back at home in Whalen Gymnasium for a two-game home series against Chadron State (8-5, 5-2 RMAC) on Friday, Jan. 19, at 7:00 p.m. and Colorado Christian (6-7, 2-5 RMAC) on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 6:00 p.m.
