Annual Skyhawks Club Casino Night set for Saturday, August 3

DURANGO, Colo. -- The Fort Lewis College Department of Athletics has announced it will host the second-annual Skyhawks Club Casino Night on Saturday, August 3rd.

The event, presented by FCI Constructors, supports scholarships and student-athlete enhancements. The event will be held in Whalen Gymnasium on the campus of Fort Lewis College. Sky Ute Casino Resort has partnered to provide gaming for the event.

Last year, the inaugural event raised over $50,000 and closed out a record-breaking external year for Skyhawks Athletics.

"Skyhawks Club Casino Night has quickly become the premier event of the entire year. We are excited to build on the momentum and create signature experiences for Skyhawks fans, supporters, and the Durango Community," said Director of Athletics, Travis Whipple. "This event will continue to serve as a great opportunity for community members to engage with coaches and staff while helping raise scholarships and program enhancements for our student-athletes. Stay tuned for additional announcements about this year as we get closer to August 3rd. You won't want to miss it as we continue building a program of excellence committed to graduating champions."

The Skyhawks Club Casino Night will feature gaming tables, interaction with coaches, auction items, and plenty of excitement. Table packages begin at $1,000 with a variety of ways to get involved. Event Attire
The recommended dress code for Casino Night is Cocktail Attire. Examples include: dress shirt, tie, sport coat, slacks, trousers, cocktail dress, blouse.
 

Silent Auction
The Silent Auction site us now LIVE!, with bidding through the end of Casino Night. Anyone is eligible to bid (need not be at the event to participate in the silent auction).

Bid board #1 will begin accepting bids at 6:45 PM, ending at 7:45 PM. Bid board #2 will follow, starting at 7:45 PM and ending at 8:45 PM.
