Program History
Fort Lewis made program history on Tuesday as the Skyhawks ascended to a No. 3 national ranking in the latest edition of the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Head coach Bob Pietrack's squad has won seven straight games, is 12-0 at home in Whalen Gymnasium, and ranks 29th in offense (85.0), 6th in scoring margin (15.4), 16th in turnovers forced (17.67), 10th in turnover margin (6.0), and 9th in bench scoring (39.0) across NCAA Division II.

Last Time Out
The Skyhawks are coming off of arguably its two toughest weeks back-to-back since the season began. Fort Lewis downed No. 10 Mines (19-4, 13-2 RMAC) 73-63 to earn the program's second Top 10 win in as many weeks before following it up with an 83-67 performance to defeat MSU Denver (13-7, 7-7 RMAC) the following night. Obi Agbim led all Fort Lewis scorers in both games registering a 20-point outing against Mines and an additional 15-point performance against the Roadrunners that saw five Skyhawks finish in double figures. Fort Lewis is now back atop the league rankings sitting in first for total offense, first in scoring margin, and second in defense (68.0).

Scouting the ThunderWolves
CSU Pueblo will be well prepared and looking to knock off top-ranked Fort Lewis after losing at home last Friday 81-67 to Regis (12-9, 9-6 RMAC) and dropping its last three games on the road prior. Fort Lewis has won six straight games and 15 of the last 16 against The Pack including a 6-1 record on the road in Pueblo, Colo., through the same 16-game span.

The two squads met previously back on Dec. 9, when Fort Lewis ran off with a commanding 97-64 home win over The Pack. Five Skyhawks finished in double figures led by Agbim with 23 points on 8-of-11 shooting while Brevin Walter guided the ThunderWolves with 15 points. Most notably, FLC limited The Pack to 30.5 percent (18-59) shooting from the field and 25.0 percent (7-28) from deep while forcing 17 turnovers.

Offensive duties have been well split among the ThunderWolves' big four who all average double-figure scoring: Brevin Walter (16.6), Makiah Morris (15.2), Armon Muldrew (12.8), and De'Shaun Cooper (11.4). In addition, Morris is leading the roster with 6.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. As a unit, CSU Pueblo ranks fifth in offense (78.2) and tenth in defense (75.0) in the RMAC.

Fort Lewis has its final non-traditional week on deck as the Skyhawks travel to Alamosa, Colo., for a 7:30 p.m. matchup at Adams State (6-14, 4-10 RMAC) this Tuesday, Feb. 13.
