Skyhawks indoor track to race at Don Kirby Invite

DURANGO, Colo. – The Skyhawks men's and women's indoor track and field teams are back in Albuquerque this week for the two-day Don Kirby Invite, hosted at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

Last Time Out
Fort Lewis was at the Big Red Machine Open last week in Gunnison, competing in the mile, 3k, 5K, 60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and the distance medley. On the women's side, there were five top-10 finishes while the men saw nine. The distance medley group of Conner Dosmann, Brady Burrough, Malakai Hanson, and Aaron Busche placed first with a time of 10:32.65.

About the Don Kirby Invite
Action begins on Friday with field events before the track action kicks off at 1:30 p.m. with the men's 400m. Saturday's schedule begins with the women's 60m hurdles at 9:30 a.m. and closes out at 3:00 p.m. with the women's 4x400m relay.

Up Next
Fort Lewis will head right into the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships in two weeks, beginning on Friday, February 23^rd. The meet will take place in Spearfish, S.D. at the Donald E. Young Center, hosted by Black Hills State University.
