DURANGO, Colo. – The Fort Lewis College men's basketball is thrilled to announce the addition of Grady Corrigan, a member of the Hastings College 2023-24 men's basketball squad that captured both Great Plains Athletic Conference regular season and conference tournament championships, as the program's newest graduate assistant.

"Grady will be a fantastic addition to our program," head coach Jordan Mast said. "As a player at Hastings, he worked his way into a major role and was voted team captain before helping the team to a pair of conference championships. Grady knows the value of sticking with something and putting in the effort necessary to achieve success. I'm thrilled that he will bring these characteristics as well as a winning mentality and more to our staff and program."

Corrigan made 54 starts across his 75 games played for the Broncos dating back to the 2021-22 campaign. As a six-foot-one guard, Corrigan helped the Broncos capture a share of the regular season title for the first time in 33 years and the first GPAC Tournament title in program history.

"I'm excited to join the Fort Lewis men's basketball program and Durango community." Corrigan shared. "It's an honor to start my coaching career at a program like Fort Lewis. I want to give a special thanks to Coach Knigge for giving me this opportunity. I look forward to working with and learning from the coaching staff while transitioning into the next chapter of my basketball career."

Last season, Corrigan went for double figures on 14 occasions while shooting 43.0 percent from the floor en route to All-GPAC Honorable Mention honors. A native of Bennington, Nebraska, and a graduate of Bennington High School, Corrigan will pursue his Masters of Arts in Education: Leading in Context, while in Durango.
