COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the first time this season, Fort Lewis has swept the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's weekly men's basketball awards as Biko Johnson and Stewart Erhart bring home Week 11 RMAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Fort Lewis becomes the first team on the men's side this season to sweep the weekly basketball awards. The pair of honors also marks the fourth and fifth weekly awards for the Skyhawks this season, the most of any team in the conference.

Last weekend, the Skyhawks (11-6, 5-3 RMAC) utilized the home comforts of Whalen Gymnasium to route South Dakota Mines (1-15, 1-7 RMAC) 88-54 before staging a gritty come-from-behind victory over Black Hills State (9-7, 5-3 RMAC), 82-73, to climb into fourth in league standings.

Johnson, a six-foot-two guard from Carson, Calif., takes home his second Offensive Player of the Week Award after leading the offense in both contests. Against the Hardrockers, Johnson racked up 25 points on 9-of-15 (60.0 percent) shooting while matching his season-high with a 5-of-8 clip from beyond the arc and a 2-2 mark at the free throw line. The effort marked Johnson's third 20+ point performance over a four-game stretch and his fifth such effort this season. Johnson also supplied five rebounds and an assist. Facing a disciplined Yellow Jackets roster, Johnson finished second on the roster with 19 total points, but most notably, proved the difference-maker at the charity stripe, where he went 11-of-13, including 8-of-9 in the second half, to secure the come-from-behind victory. In addition to adding two rebounds, two assists, and a steal, Johnson also provided the dagger as he buried a step-back trey at the top of the arc to go up seven points with 19 seconds remaining. Johnson also leads the conference in overall scoring (17.4 pts/game) while ranking second in scoring against league opponents (18.3 pts/game).

Erhart brings home his second Defensive Player of the Week award this season after continuing to be a driving force behind the Skyhawks' full-court and aggressive defense. Standing at six-foot-two from Fairbanks, Alaska, Erhart showed why he leads the conference, both overall (2.0 stls/game) and in conference play (2.1 stls/game), in steals (34 total) as he racked up seven over the weekend. Erhart nabbed a game-high four steals against South Dakota Mines while also scoring nine points, blocking one shot, grabbing three rebounds, and handing out three assists. Erhart then followed up with a game-high three steals, four points, two rebounds, an assist, and a blocked shot against Black Hills State.

The Skyhawks will head to the Front Range for the first time this season this week for a pair of conference games on the road at Colorado Christian (7-9, 3-5 RMAC) on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. and UCCS (10-6, 4-4 RMAC) on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 3 p.m.
