DURANGO, Colo. – Fort Lewis men's soccer freshman phenom Alessio Andreottola caps the 2025 fall awards with a nod to the United Soccer Coaches All-American Third-Team, the organization announced on Thursday.

Andreottola, a native of Colmar, France, and a Division II Conference Commissioners Association First-Team All-American, torched the league in his inaugural season, racking up six goals and a nation-leading 17 assists through the season for 29 total points. At the end of the regular season, Andreottola led all three divisions of NCAA soccer (DI, DII, DIII) in assists, while also tying for the 11th-most points in DII. In addition, Andreottola joined Anton Hjalmarsson as just the second player in the history of RMAC men's soccer to be named both the Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year in the same season.

The five-foot-nine forward handed out two or more assists on five occasions, including a career-high four assists in the Skyhawks' 8-1 rout over Northwest Nazarene University (Sept. 20). For the season, Andreottola tallied 1,315 minutes, 63 shots, 26 shots on goal, and had two game-winning goals. Andreottola's 3.94 shots per game and 1.63 shots on goal per game were the second-most and 16th-most in DII in the regular season.

Fort Lewis men's soccer will return to the pitch this spring for a series of exhibition matches in preparation for the 2026 fall campaign.
