DURANGO, Colo. – Three student-athletes from the Fort Lewis men's soccer team have been named to the United Soccer Coaches All-South Central Region First-Team, as well as the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-American teams, the organizations announced on Tuesday. Alessio Andreottola earned First-Team All-American status, while Casey Stracher and Lorenz Guintini both captured Third-Team All-American honors.

It's just the third time in program history that three or more Skyhawks have earned All-American honors from the D2CCA in a single season, and the first 2011. The trio is the third, fourth, and fifth All-Americans under the tutelage of head coach David Oberholtzer, and the 12th, 13th, and 14th USC All-Region products.

To no surprise, Andreottola earns First-Team All-American status as a true freshman after leading all of the NCAA with 17 assists and 1.06 assists per match. The native of Colmar, France, and former USC Division II National Player of the Month (Sept.) also scored six goals to rack up 29 total points and double down with nods to the D2CCA and USC All-South Central Region First-Teams.

Andreottola also capped the regular season ranking second in shots per match (3.94) and 16th in shots-on-goal per match (1.63). In addition, Andreottola made two or more assists on five occasions, including a career-high four assists in the Skyhawks' 8-1 rout over Northwest Nazarene University (Sept. 20). Andreottola also posted his first career brace in Fort Lewis' 5-0 win over Colorado Christian (Oct. 3).

Guintini, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's leading goal scorer, who also finished second in the region with five game-winning goals, tallied 13 goals and five game-winners en route to the third-most points in the region overall and third-most in DII at the end of the regular season with 30, earns Third-Team All-American honors as one of the most dangerous forwards in the country.

Despite a pair of braces in his true freshman campaign, it was a stunning hat-trick against Northwest Nazarene that put Guintini on the map, which he capped with a nearly 65-yard goal from inside his own half. Playing 1,368 minutes, Guintini fired off 3.24 shots and 1.71 shots-on-goal per match, marks that ranked 12th and 16th in DII through the regular season. The native of Avignon, France, also earned his second First-Team All-South Central Region honor of the season.

Stracher, a native of Kamas, Utah, and a staple in the Skyhawks' defense over the last two seasons, caps his career with his second First-Team All-South Central Region title, as well as Third-Team All-American honors. Starting in all 39 matches while in Durango, Stracher accumulated 1,396 minutes on the pitch this season, scoring four goals and handing out two assists for 10 total points. In the season finale at Adams State (Nov. 5), Stracher scored his first career brace as well as his first-ever game-winning goal. The South Summit High School graduate ends his career as a two-time All-RMAC talent, two-time RMAC Defensive Player of the Week, three-time All-South Central Region honoree, and a Third-Team All-American.

The United Soccer Coaches are set to release their All-American honorees this Thursday, Dec. 11.
