Men’s basketball vs. Regis declared no contest

DENVER, Colo. – Fort Lewis College men's basketball's Saturday afternoon Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game at Regis University has been declared a no contest.

The decision to cancel was made after thorough consultations between the administrations of both institutions, prioritizing the health and safety of student-athletes.

The institutions explored possible make-up dates for the game, but no appropriate days were found. Due to national regulations, the game is considered "no contest" and will not affect either team's overall record. However, it will be regarded as a forfeit loss for Regis and a win for Fort Lewis in the RMAC standings.

The Skyhawks are back in action this Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. for their RMAC home opener against New Mexico Highlands University (1-7, 1-0 RMAC).
