Junna named Second Team All-Region by United Soccer Coaches

DURANGO, Colo. – Following a standout effort on the defensive side of the ball in 2025, senior Renee Junna has earned Second Team All-South Central Region honors, announced by the United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday.

Junna's effort in her senior campaign, alongside the entire defensive backline, led to a program-record season in shutouts (13) and goals against average (.37). She led the team in minutes played with 1,619 and provided a game-winning goal in a crucial 1-0 defeat of Westminster University.

The Australia native guided the Skyhawks to an 11-5-3 record and an 8-0-1 home mark. Fort Lewis did not allow a goal at home during the 2025 season. The Skyhawks ended the season ranked second in NCAA Division II in goals against average (.368) and third in both save percentage (.901) and shutout percentage (.737).
