Hartwell earns 5k crown, Skyhawks compete at Don Kirby

DURANGO, Colo. – Fort Lewis College indoor track and field sent a pair to the GVSU Big Meet in Michigan, as well as an entire flock to the Don Kirby Elite Invitational in its second to last competition before the conference championships.

GVSU Big Meet
Junior Hannah Hartwell was the highlight of the meet on Friday, setting a meet record, school record, and taking home the 5000m crown with a time of 16:08.22. Her time is good for third in NCAA Division II this season. Junior Alliyah Molina also competed in the 5k race, but her final time and place is not yet available due to a clerical error with the scoring company.
