COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) has announced its women's lacrosse All-Conference teams, and juniors Samantha Rodgers and Sydney Tannaci earned spots on the Honorable Mention list.
Rodgers picked up her third-straight All-RMAC Honorable Mention accolade after another sound season on defense. The junior led the team in draw controls (64), ground balls (43), and caused turnovers (43). She ended the season ranked third in the conference in caused turnovers per game (2.69) and eighth in ground balls per game (2.69). Rodgers enters her senior season with career numbers of 115 ground balls, 96 caused turnovers, and 71 draws.
Tannaci adds her second All-RMAC honor to her resume following a consistent season in the midfield. The junior came away with 36 ground balls, 26 draw controls, and 25 caused turnovers through 16 games played. Her 1.56 caused turnovers per game ranked seventh in the conference. Tannaci enters her senior year with 71 ground balls, 61 draws, and 53 caused turnovers.
