COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Fort Lewis College women's soccer team has been picked to finish fourth in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) according to the 2026 Preseason Coaches' Poll, announced Thursday.

Colorado School of Mines earned the top spot by a narrow margin with 134 points and three first-place votes. Colorado Mesa University and UCCS each received five first-place votes, totaling 132 and 131 points, respectively. Fort Lewis followed in fourth with 109 points.

Senior forward Jenna Salazar and senior midfielder Ann Spence were named to the 2026 Preseason All-Conference Team after each earned Second Team All-Conference honors in 2025.

The Skyhawks finished last season with an 11-5-3 overall record and a 7-2-2 mark in conference play. Fort Lewis was receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll heading into the RMAC Tournament semifinals, where the Skyhawks fell 1-0 to No. 20 Colorado Mesa.

Fort Lewis returns three All-Conference selections from last season in Salazar, Spence, and reigning RMAC Freshman of the Year Trinity Lujan.

The Skyhawks open the 2026 season on Thursday, Aug. 27, in San Antonio, Texas, against regional foe St. Mary's University.
