Prior to FLC: Smith earned four varsity letters as a member of the boys golf team and one as a member of the boys basketball team for the Pirates at Pagosa High School... set the program's single-round record shooting a 65... also carries a career-low of 61... named the Colorado Golf Association 2021 Junior Player of the Year... owns three tournament wins as well as four top five, five top ten, and six top 25 finishes over his final three seasons in junior golf.

Personal: Born February 5, 2008... son of Ginger and John Smith... has two siblings... enjoys adventuring in the outdoors, going fishing and camping, and being with good company... listens to Drake and a good mix of genres... favorite foods include steak, pasta, and breakfast foods... intends on majoring in Finance and/or Business while at FLC... when asked his favorite part about Fort Lewis, Smith shared, "Durango is a beautiful town with great people."
